In order to complete this application you will need to prepare a 250 word personal statement and also have a scanned or digital photograph of yourself sent to the following e-mail address scandinst@luther.edu  All applicants must have a functioning e-mail address.
Deadline dates are stipulated by American foundation offices in each country.  
Important Note:
Norwegian applicants must submit by February 12, 2010.
All other applicants must submit by March 1, 2010.

We urge applicants to apply for scholarship-stipends by contacting the Scandinavian foundation office in their country. Stipends from Luther College are limited by the amount contributed from benefactors specifically for this course. They are only available for on-campus costs (not for travel costs), and will be awarded after applications are accepted.

This completed application and the photograph are being submitted electronically to the office of the Luther College Scandinavian Institute. If requested, they will be forwarded, together with your picture, to the appropriate Nordic foundation office.
